| Cross Sword Division educational cum awareness tour | | |
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU AUG 2: Indian Army has launched various project towards alleviation the problem of the local people of the border and rural areas and wins their hearts and minds in continuing with their efforts the Cross Swords Division organized educational cum awareness motivation tour of 25 students which come from the LoC. Major general, Rakesh Sharma GOC, cross sword address and welcome to the student on the tour and impressed act upon the important role for their nation and join Indian army. Tour was flagged off by GOC for Punjab State to see historical places like Amritsar, Bagha Border, Golden Temple, Jalliya Wala Bagh, Jalandhar, Chandigarh and other. The students will come back on 11th August after nine days tour.
The tour was organised by the 28 Brigade of the Cross Sword Division.
