Jammu, Aug 2: A five of 15,000 was realized from Trend Ltd, of Tata enterprise, Mumbai and 7000 from Prem sweets new plot and from Prem Bar Jajjar Kotli for delivering less goods to the consumers by the department of Asstt controller legal metrology here today. The Tata enterprises were found for not mentoring consumer helpline which is mandatory in package commodity. In another drive led by inspector Pooja Kumari a extensive checking was done Muthi, Bernai and Kangrail are, more than 15 traders were checked and one cement factory, one Ice-cram unit, one flour mill one Rice mill among other traders were booked for different violations under Weights and Measures Act and cases were compounded for Rs.10,000.
