| Youth consumes poison, dies | | | JAMMU: A youth allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison at his residence in Udhampur Friday. Identified as Sushil Kumar (33), son of Om Prakash, he hailed from Karan Nagar, Udhampur.
Police said after he swallowed poison at his residence Friday, his family evacuated him to the GMC Hospital, Jammu, where he died this morning. After post-mortem, the body was handed over to his family members for last rites. Though police had registered a case in this connection, the cause behind the provocation was yet to be ascertained. |
