| 3 anti-tank mines defused on IB | | | JAMMU: Three anti-tank mines were defused by troops on the International Border (IB) at Pulpur near Sapwal in Samba today. Official sources said the mines were first seen by locals, who informed troops.
A bomb-disposal of army later visited the spot and defused the mines, the sources added.
Sources said had these exploded, these could have caused extensive damage to the lives of border farmers, who often visited their fields on the IB. |
