SRINAGAR, Aug 3: As many as 3465 yatris left from Nunwan-Pahalgam base camp for holy cave shrine of Amarnath today.
Out of 3465 pilgrims, there are 2283 male, 747 female, 147 children and 288 sadhus.
Similarly, 757 yatris left from Baltal route. Out of 757 yatris taking the shorter route for Amarnath cave shrine, 516 are male, 191 female, 45 children and 3 sadhus.
It is recalled that so for 4,11,407 yatris have performed Amarnath pilgrimage since its commencement on July 1.
