| Workshop on Biodiversity conservation at JU | | | Early times Report
Jammu, Aug 3: The Minister of environment and forest govt. of India has appointed WWF-India, J&K state office as resource agency for executing national environment awareness campaign 2010-11 for which the theme is “Biodiversity conservation”. In this conexion a pre-proposal workshop is being organized on 7th of August at the conference hall of WWF in University campus, Jammu. All the participants, NGO’s as well as educational institutions are requested to participate so that necessary guidelines regarding submission of applications along with necessary documents within the stipulated date can be given. As per press release the ministry will provide funds ranging from Rs.6000/- to 15000/- to each participating institutions for executing the programme as per the guidelines to generate awareness about Biodiversity conservation.
