| BBIJMC organizes orientation class for new entrants | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Aug 3: To acquaint the students with the nature and scope of journalism, BB Institute of Mass Communication and Journalism---a subsidiary of Bishan Bimla Educational Trust --- organized a one-day orientation class for the new entrants. Orientation class was held at its campus in Shastri Nagar here today.
The programme was coordinated by the course coordinator Manpreet Kour and assisted by Gurvinder Kour--- a pass out student of the institute.
Speaking on the occasion, Manpreet Kour acquainted the students with journalism and mass communication. Its scope was also discussed, particularly in contemporary world where its need has increased manifold.
Manpreet Kour dealt at length with various aspects of this world of challenges and glamour.
She said that this was a peculiar institute in the state which has vigorously followed in - house practical training for its students.
A total of fifty students desirous of joining the said course attended the programme besides the students of present batch.
The programme started with an introduction about the institute given by the internee of the institute, Gurvinder Kour
