Now, JU’s starts distance education in Rajouri

Rajouri, Aug 3:Director, Distance Education, University of Jammu, Meenakshi Kilam has extended full support to Tariq College of Education for holding all contact classes of the Bachelor’s of Education course in Rajouri instead of Jammu following which the college authorities have thanked University of Jammu for the cooperation.
In a valedictory programme held here at Tariq College of Education, Rajouri, Meenakshi Kilam, Director Distance Education, JU today said that the University will allow the college to hold contact classes in Rajouri as the students are facing lot of problems to reach Jammu and attend such classes.
Earlier, the students of Rajouri had to travel to Jammu to attend contact classes. With this decision, the students will have major relief in future.
Meanwhile, Meenakshi Kilam has also appreciated college authorities for maintaining educational standard.
Secretary, Tariq Education Society, Sajjad Tariq thanked the Director for visiting their college and gracing the occasion.
