| JBA appeals for communal harmony, brotherhood | | | Early times Report
Jammu, Aug 4: Expressing concern over the damage to load carriers carrying essential supplies of Kashmir valley and attack on drivers and conductors causing them grievous injuries, the Jammu Bachoo Andolan (JBA) demanded adequate compensation to the truck owners, drivers conductors besides providing them the proper medical treatment and security, in a meeting presided over by Wg Cdr (retd) GL Sharma here today. As per press release JBA discussed the law and order, socio economic and political situation prevailing in the state and sought personal intervention of Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh and state governor NN Vohra to overcome this situation. JBA also expressed concern over the sad and unfortunate incidents happening in some parts of the state including that of Tral. Members of JBA appealed to the people of J&K to maintain communal harmony brotherhood and peace at any cost.
