3 Amarnath pilgrims killed as bus falls into gorge

SRINAGAR, Aug 4:
Three devotees, two from Delhi, were killed and seven others injured when a bus carrying Amarnath pilgrims skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge at Nilgarh on Sonamarg-Baltal in central Kashmir district of Ganderbal today.
The deceased were identified as Dileep Kumar Baber, son of Panchum, resident of Inder Vikas, Delhi, Laja Nigam, wife of Munshi Nigam, resident of Delhi. The third victim Davinder Singh, son of Munshi Singh, was a resident of Punjabi Colony, Uttar Pradesh.
The injured were admitted to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), at Soura where the condition of five of them was stated to be critical, official sources said.
