| LOK Adalat settles 252 cases | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Aug 5: A Permanent Lok-Adalat was held today in the District Court Complex Janipur Jammu under the chairmanship of AK Shan Principal District and sessions Judge who is also Chairman District legal Service Authority. Three Benches were constituted in this Lok Adalat took up 274 cases and decided 252 cases.
Bench No 1 comprising AK Shan Principal District & Sessions Judge and also Chairman District Legal Services and Sanjeev Kumar Bhagat Additional District Matrimonial Cases Jammu took up 23 matrimonial cases and settled them all. Alimony was awarded to the tune of RS 21.75 lacs.
Bench No 2 comprising MS Parihar CJM Jammu and. RN Wattal Electricity Magistrate Jammu took up 71 cases and decided 49 cases under Municipal Act, Shops & Establishment Act, Electricity and petty criminal matters
Bench NO 3 presided over by Khalil Ahmed Choudhary Special Mobile Magistrate Traffic Jammu took up 180 traffic cases and settled them all . JNF
