| Unlicensed medical shop sealed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 5: Drugs and Food Control Organization under the supervision of the Assistant Controller ,Drugs ,Jammu today conducted raid and sealed an unlicensed medical shop M/s Shiv Shakti Medicos belonging to Mr Sham Singh S/o Late Mr Gambir Chand R/o Chinnore, Bantalab. The Department has warned of strict action under the law against those involved in illegal and unethical trade of medicines. The department has further directed all the wholesalers to distribute medicines only to the Licensed Retailers an action as warranted under the provisions of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 shall be initiated against the defaulters. The retailers are also being impressed upon to follow good trade practices and adopt proper dress code.
