Achievements of dist rural health society reviewed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT KISHTWAR, Aug 5: District Development Commissioner, G. R. Bhagat today reviewed the physical and financial performances of the rural health society ending July, besides performance of the National Rural Health Mission, Kishtwar Unit . The meeting was chaired by District Rural Health Society, Kishtwar . During the meeting, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Ajay Gupta who is also Vice Chairman of the District Rural Health Society gave a resume of the activities of the Rogi Kalyan Simitis of the district hospital and other primary health centres and informed the meeting that as per the new guidelines issued by the Union Health Ministry, Rogi Kalyan Simiti concept is to be constituted for the Allopathic dispensaries level in the district for the benefit of the ailing communities and ensuring the improved health care delivery system to maximum habitations The meeting also discussed in threadbare the other issues and related matter of ASHA, physical and financial achievements of the Janani Surakhsa Yojna, problems of the staff engaged for running the NRHM scheme in the district. Addressing the meeting the DDC (Chairman of the DRHS) called upon the functionaries of the health and family welfare department to ensure best health care facilities to the patients and asked them to reach out to people of far-flung areas for massive public awareness to avail the benefits of the centrally sponsored schemes like the NRHM, JSY, VHSC and baby health care programme. The meeting was also attended by the ADDC, ADC, Chief Planning Officer, Engineers of PHE, R&B, Chief Education Officer, Block Medical Officers of the district and field functionaries of the Medical Department Kishtwar.
