LJP demands dismissal of Omar govt | | | Early Times Report JAMMU: A meeting of LJP was held today at the head office of LJP under the chairmanship of Sanjeev Manmotra, State working President LJP,J&K State. In the meeting, State working President, Manmotra, general secretary & party spokesman, K. K. Rao, general secretary, M.R.Puri, J&K Dalit Sena President, Anil Kumar Bhagat and other LJP leaders expressed concern over the prevailing situation in valley. They sought immediate dismissal of Omar-led coalition government in the state and demanded imposition of Governor’s rule . They blamed state chief Minister Omar Abdullah for present turmoil while maintaining that Chief Minister always tried to compromise with separatists and anti India forces and acceded to their unjustified demands to buy peace. They further said that Kashmir problem is not only the creation of Pakistan and the separatist elements in the valley but it is the creation of the wrong policies of the central government that it pursued in the last 63 years after the accession of J&K state with India. They urged upon the Parliament to understand the gravity of the situation in J&K State and absurd pressure upon the union government to remove Omar Abdullah government, impose Governor Rule for a brief period and take initative to bring peace to restore democracy in the state.
