Kathua pays homage to martyr Narinder Sharma | | | Early Times Report (Arun Trisal) Kathua, Aug. 6:- The Shiva charitable trust Kathua organized a programme to pay homage to the martyr Narinder Sharma, who laid down his life for the cause of nation during the Amarnath land dispute movement in Jammu and Kashmir two years ago. He was shot dead by an army man on national highway Kathua. On the occasion, MLA Charanjeet Singh and the convener of Sangharsh Samiti Brg. Suchait Singh, along with Jagdish Kumar the father of martyr Narinder Sharma and a large number of people paid homage to the Martyr. Addressing the public, Brg. Suchait Singh accused the State government of not addressing the commitments made to Sangarsh Samiti like special economic package for transporters, traders, businessman, and relief to Chambers of Commerce and as per SRO 43 to provide the employment package for those who lost their limbs and the family member or those who gave their lives. He said that the Sangharsh Samiti is still fighting for their genuine demands. On the occasion, President of the Shiva Charitable Trust Amarjeet Singh Pathania told media persons that on this day the Trust organizes programme to remember the sacrifices of the martyr Narinder Sharma and also arranges of the langar (free food) every year. In the programme the Surinder Bajaj, Dev Raj Bharu, Ravinder Raina, Bharat Bushan, Shashi Sharma, Bubby Verma, Pawan Sharma and Bittu Pathania were present.
