JPPF takes out peace march rally | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, AUG 6: Jammu Province People’s Forum ( JPPF) on Friday took out a peace march in the wake of deteriorating situation in the valley. The various heads of the conglomerate that include transport, chamber of commerce, various political organizations joined the peace march that was led by retired Judge Pavitar Singh, the convenor of the forum. The peace march that started from Indira Chowk passed through different markets of the city and reached Divisional Commissioner’s office at Mubarak Mandi where the deputations submitted a memorandum to Divisional Commissioner. M S Katoch, Inderjit Khhajuria, Narayan Singh, ML Sharma, Agnishekhar, Dev Raj Baru, Uday Chand, Satish Anand, Rajesh Kesari, Anil Gour, S Gajan Singh, Satish Anand, Rajesh Kesari and other JPPF leaders escorted the march. While submitting the memorandum to the Governor, they also apprise the Divisional Commissioner about the present political turmoil of the state and requested him to take up the issue with the Government so that peace and communal harmony is maintained at all costs in the state at an early date. The also apprised him about the apprehensions of some anti-national elements who are now trying to create unrest in Doda and Kishtwar districts and disturb the old age brotherhood and peace in the region for which government must take urgent steps to stop such vested interest in succeeding in their evil designs.
