| 14 driving licenses suspended | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Aug 6: Regional Transport Officer, Jammu, Jaswant Singh Manhas suspended fourteen driving licenses of the drivers today. The decision was taken following by the complaint of traffic police.
RTO Manhas when contacted informed that he had been receiving complaints from the traffic police and other transport related departments that mini buses' drivers in Jammu district were flouting traffic norms which including over loading, harassment to the travelers, absence of first aid boxes in the vehicles and time and again applying of brakes (not at the bus stop) of the vehicles on roads causing boost to accidents. Therefore taking strict action he suspended fourteen driving licenses of the mini buses drivers. |
