| Sandeep leads with 337 pts in junior Air Pistol event | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 7: Sandeep Singh Bandral of Kendriya Vidyalaya Jammu was leading in junior boys’ category securing maximum 337 points in Air Pistol event in the ongoing Inter-School Shooting Championship at Gulshan Ground, here today.
In girls section, Parbina Khatun of Oriental Higher Secondary School Akhnoor was leading with 105 points while Asmita Mahajan of Army School Janglote and Vatsalaya Singh of KC Public School were trailing behind at second and third position.
However, in boys team event, St-Xavier School Kathua was leading in the Air Pistol while, Oriental Higher Secondary Akhnoor topped in girls category.
Meanwhile, in sub-junior boys’ category, Tejaswavi Singh of Delhi Public School was leading in sub-junior boys’ section with 348 points out of 400, followed by Shankar Gupta of Tiny Tots Higher Secondary with 332 points and Raghav Bakshi of St Xavier Higher Secondary School Kathua.
Today’s competitions were officiated by Rajesh Virdhy and Subash Chander of Jammu and Kashmir Police.
