| World Breast Feeding week concludes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 7: World Breastfeeding week concluded at Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar here today.
On the concluding day, a function was organized where in the nursing students presented a play related to Breast Feeding.
A prize distribution function was also held on the occasion. Students who participated in different activities were given prizes.
Medical Superintendent Dr Subash Bhagat congratulated the nursing students and their tutors and other staff members for participating in the Breast Feeding week. He also said that such programmes definitely help in educating the people.
Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr Arun Sharma gave a detailed account of activities organised during the complete week.
The programmes held in connection with the Breast Feeding Week including Exhibition, poster competition, street plays, quiz competition, seminars and awareness lectures to educate the general public and patients coming to the Hospital.
Medical Officer Stores Dr Birpuri, Principal Bee Enn Nursing College Shakuntla Sharma, Manager Bee Enn Hospital Manoj Kotru, Asstt Lecturer S Ponraj, Sr Lecturer A Roseline were also present in the valedictory function along with BSc Nursing students.
