State President Shri Ram Sena denounces attacks on tanker drivers,demands their protection on NH in Kashmir valley | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Aug 7: Expressing concern over Kashmir situation and attacks on oil tanker drivers and conductors, Shri Ram Sena, State President, and Rajiv Mahajan has demanded imposition of Governor rule in J&K. Addressing media persons here today, Mahajan showed great resentments against the anti-social elements in Kashmir province, which are obstructing entry of oil tankers into Kashmir Valley as has been reported by some oil tanker owners. Rajiv Mahajan said that some oil tankers have reported that the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu has been kind enough to provide security to the oil tankers up to Banihal, and after that the security shall be provided from Banihal onwards by the concerned authority of Kashmir. But so far no security has been provided to the oil tankers from Banihal onwards to destination in Kashmir Valley. Therefore it is very difficult for the oil tanker operators to transport the contents to destinations in Kashmir valley. He demanded proper security and protection to oil tankers on National Highway all along in Kashmir Valley. Those present at the press conference included Bal Krishan Arora, secretary, Vinay Gupta, vice president, Deepak Sharma, Parul Gupta, Anil Chopra and others.
