| Youth Kranti Dal floated: appeals valley people for peace | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Aug 7: About 20 youth from different walks of life have joined Youth Kranti Dal in a function held here today under the chairmanship of Labha Ram Gandhi.
The youth were welcomed by Labha Ram Gandhi, Chairman Kranti Dal, Pritam Sharma and State president Kranti Dal Youth Samarjit Singh.
Samarjit Singh said that at the moment, the state was going through critical and testing time when the situation in the Kashmir valley continued to be causing concern. It was obligatory for the people to do their best to contribute to the restoration of peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
He appealed to the people of Kashmir to maintain peace which is vital for the progress and prosperity of the people and the state. He mentioned that J&K is a tourists spot and this is the peak season for the tourist to visit Kashmir. It was of vital importance that peace prevailed in the valley so that tourism contributed to the economic health of the state.
During deliberations, Virender Singh was appointed senior vice president KD (Y) and Kamal Deep Singh as vice president.
Other members of the organization are Raman Sodi, Monu Talwar, Ashish Soni, Ashu Gupta, Robin Singh, Narjeet Singh, Satish Gupta, Babu, Sanjay Kumar, Dharam Singh and others.
