| JK Montessorie expresses solidarity with Leh people | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 7: A “Shanti Sabha” was held in the premises of JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School Talab Tillo Jammu wherein staff and the students of the school expressed their heart felt concern and sympathy for the people of Leh who faced nature’s fury.
There was huge loss of property and precious lives in the natural calamity.
Students also observed a two minutes silence as a mark of respect to the departed souls. The students expressed support and solidarity to the people of Leh. The school contributed Rs11000 as a humble token of oneness and good will through Seva Bharti.
A box was also put up in the premises of the school in which the students and the staff may contribute any more donations voluntarily.
