JKLTF meets CEO, put forth problems | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Aug 7: A deputation of the All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation led by Balwan Singh Jamwal met the Chief Education Officer Natha Ram at his office chamber to apprise him of the problems being faced by the teaching community. Members expressed their concern about the shortage of subject teacher, accommodation, drinking water facilities and bathroom in majority of the schools in rural areas of Jammu district. Members of the federation accepted in principal that defect lies somewhere else and difference in HRA in Rural & urban area attract everyone to serve in Jammu city & its periphery due to higher rate of H RA. Federation member requested the Minister for School Education that political or outside interference in transfers be stopped in education department for streamlining the education system in J&K and demanded transparent transfer policy. CEO, Jammu assured that their grievances be addressed and also sought the cooperation of the federation to deal with the problems. Members assured full co-operation to the Chief Education Officer for dealing with the problem of education department. Those who participated included Kewal Krishan Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Naresh Choudhary, Parlhad Singh, Inderjeet Gupta Joginder Singh, Jyoti Parkash, Daljeet Singh, Danesh Singh Jamwal, Om Prakash.
