| Dist level award ceremony held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 7: District level award ceremony was held by the Science Olympiad Foundation, New Delhi at Jammu at Diwan Badrinath Vidya Mandir School, Canal Road, Jammu to honour the best district students, teachers of the schools for participation in the 12th National Science Olympiad, 9th National Cyber Olympiad and 3rd International Math Olympiad.
In the award function, principals, teachers and the parents of the students also participated.
Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF), a non-profit organisation, is conducting 'Olympiads' in Science, Mathematics and Technology for the students of 2nd to 12th classes to inculcate a scientific temper amongst them by providing them with a unique competitive platform where they can prove themselves in the national as well as international arenas.
In the award ceremony 45, students from different schools of Jammu •were specially acknowledged for their excellence in cyber, math and science Olympiad and were awarded prizes and trophies.
Best parent award was given to the parents of the best students awardees Sachit Sharma of Spring Dale English School, Kathua and Neha Chaudhary of Army School, Akhnoor in recognition of their contribution towards child.
Best National Level school Cordinator award was given to Mrs. Suman sharma of Heritage school, Jammu in recognition of support for the cause of enhancing learning in Science and Technology.
Award of honour was given to Diwan Badri Nath Vidyamandir School for support and cooperation in enhancement of learning in Schience, Math and Technology.
Best District Participant School award was given to Heritage school, Jammu for encouragement and patronage to the cause of enhancing learning in Science and Technology under the aegis Science Olympiad Foundation(SOF), New Delhi.
The students from D.B.N School, Canal road , Heritage School, St. Xaviour School, Barni, Mahavir International School, Rakhmuthi, Bhargva Public School, Supval, Jodhamal Public school, Maharishi Vidyamandir School, K.V. 1, Jammu, K.V. Bantalab, K.V. Sunjuwan, K.V Damann, Air Force School, Satwari, K.C gurkul public school, Siksha Nikatan School, Jewan Nagar, Army School, Miran Sahib, Army School, Akhnoor got the prizes and trophies.
