| Crackdown on timber smugglers in Bhaderwah | | | Early Times Report
Bhaderwah, Aug 7: Continuing its crackdown against timber smugglers, a high level team of Forest Division Bhaderwah under the supervision of DFO Bhaderwah Bashir Ahmed Shah seized 45 green slippers from various forest compartments of Bhaderwah within a month .The team constituted by DFO against smugglers included Forester Zaffarullah and Liaqat Ali Ganai, forest guard of Control Room who seized and recovered green deodar slippers from Pasri center ,Dumail, Atal Garh Sungli at midnight. So far it is the first time that such a huge recovery is made by the forest division Bhaderwah within one month. Local people have appreciated the efforts of the DFO and Forest Guard Liaqat Ali Ganai who despite much administrative and political pressure took this bold step. People have strongly condemned the false propaganda launched by some self- interested persons against the Forest Guard of Control room.
