| Govt. Hr. Sec. School pays homage | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua Aug 9, The Students and staff of the Government Higher Secondary School (Boys) Kathua paid homage to the people who lost their lives in the natural calamity of cloudburst in Leh on 4 August at mid night. Prayers were offered for the quick recovery of injured persons. Principal Santosh Kohli, school staff and the students expressed deep shock over the tragedy that befell the people of Leh killing more than 200 people, with more then 700 missing and more than 1000 seriously injured. He appealed to entire humanity to come forward in support of victims of this natural calamity. He appreciated the role of army men and CRPF personnel in rescuing the sufferers in Leh. |
