| GGHS Mubarak Mandi pays tributes to Leh victims | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 9:
Students and staff of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Mubarak Mandi pay homage to the hundreds of victims of natural calamity in Leh few days back in a condolence meeting held in the school complex here today.
The participants observed two silences in the memory of the deceased and preyed for peace to the departed souls and courage to the bereaved families.
Principal of the school, Sureshta Dogra speaking on the occasion said that it’s a big tragedy for the people of Leh and appealed the students and the staff members to donate generously for them.
She further urged to the related students hailing from Leh to remain calm and have faith in the Government, which is providing every possible help to the victims of the disaster.
