Jammu Bar Association reacts to Ladakh tragedy.

Jammu, Aug.9: Jammu Bar Association expressed shock and grief over the loss of precious human lives and property because of cloudburst and flash floods in Leh town and various villages around.

Rajesh Thappa, General Secretary Bar Association Jammu conveyed his sympathy to the affected families and prayed for speedy recovery of the injured in this natural calamity. He also urged for immediately assessing the damage caused to standing crops, agricultural land, houses and other property and providing full compensation of the loss to the affected families.
Bar Association demanded that RS.IO,OO,OOO/-( Rupees Ten Lakh) cash be provided to the next of kin to the each deceased family and Rs 2,00,000/- ( Rupees Two Lakh) to the injured in this natural calamity.
