JKDP (N) extends support to calamity hit | | | Early Times Report Jammu, August 10: Expressing grief over massive loss of human lives and property due to cloud burst and flash floods in Leh, the Jammu-based senior leaders of Jammu & Kashmir Democratic party Nationalist have resolved to extend whole hearted support to their party President Ghulam Hassan Mir and to the state government, in providing relief to and rehabilitation of the victims of natural calamity. The members observed two-minutes silence and prayed for the peace of the departed souls and to provide strength to bereaved families to bear the loss. The party leaders urged upon the State and Central governments to leave no stone unturned to mitigate the suffering of the victims of tragedy, by providing them adequate compensation against the lives lost, relief and rehabilitation of the families rendered homeless. It also urged the governments to speedily rebuild the damaged infrastructure, like road connectivity, power and water supply and other essential services, besides food supplies and health care to the people. The condolence meeting was presided over by Kuldeep Wahi, Sr. Vice President (State) and was attended among others by. K. K.
