| District Badminton meet from August 25 | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, August 10: Organised by the Jammu City and District Badminton Association, the 25th Jammu District Badminton Championship shall take place at Indoor Complex, M A Stadium, here from August 25.
In this four-day long tournament, competition shall be held six different age groups of boys and girls on knock-out basis.
“The entries for under-10 and new comers shall be considered only on acceptance of Date of Birth Certificates. The last date of receiving the entries accompanied with a prescribed fee is August 22 up to 5 pm,” general secretary of the Association, Balbir Singh Jamwal told SAN.
Interested shuttlers can deposit their entries to Sat Pal Sharma, Lalita Sharma (badminton coaches), Som Raj Gupta (organizing secretary) and Vikram Saini (senior player).
The competition shall be held in under-10, mini, sub-junior, junior boys and girls as also men, women and veteran in both singles and doubles events.
