| GCW Parade organises seminar on “Career in IT” | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 10:
Department of Computer Sciences, Government College for Women (GCW) Parade in collaboration with NIIT Jammu organised a seminar on the topic “Career in IT” here today.
The event was inaugurated by Dr Kiran Bakshi, Principal GCW Parade who was the chief guest on the occasion and Vinod Koul, Zonal Head North NIIT was the resource person.
Resource person Vinod Koul, Zonal head North NIIT shared his views on various career options in IT made student aware that how in this current age of knowledge-based society, science and technology besides technical education has assumed an irrefutably significant role and in that how it has been making rapid strides in keeping pace with various current industrial innovations & technological advances.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Kiran Bakshi, Principal, GCW Parade lauded the efforts of the department for organizing such seminars.
She appreciated that such events help students to get exposed in various career options available in the markets.
Prof Parveen Singh, Head of Department Computer Sciences thanked RK Sharma CMD NIIT Jammu for showing keen interest in this seminar and making it a grand success, without which it would have not been possible.
