JKNPP expresses shock over Leh, Machail incidents | | | Early times report Udhampur Aug 10 Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers party, Kishtwar unit today expressed grief over the loss of human lives and property due to cloud burst and flash floods in Leh and over the death of a Machail yatra pilgrim who died near Massu village in Padder area of Kishtwar district after coming under landslide last evening in which three other pilgrims were also critically injured . JKNPP district Kishtwar, unit secy, Om Prakesh Sen held a meeting of party members here in which members conveyed their sympathy to the affected families and prayed for speedy recovery of the injured in this natural calamity at Leh and Massu area Padder yesterday . Speaking at the meeting, Sen urged for immediately assessing the damage caused to standing crops, agricultural land, houses and other property and providing full compensation of the loss of affected families. Party demanded Rs 10 lakh be provided to the next of kin to the each deceased family and Rs two lakhs to the injured in this natural calamity at Leh and Massu area of Padder in Kishtwar district . He also shown concern over the loss to people in Marwah area of district who have lost their houses and land due to natural calamity few days back and demanded relief for them also .
