JAMMU, Aug 10:
Civil Defense, Jammu today organised a plantation drive at M R College of Education, Chawadi Chowk, under the supervision of Deputy Controller, Civil Defense, Jammu.
DIG, HG/CD & Auxiliary Police, Jammu P R Manhas was the chief guest on the occasion.
The programme was attended by SP, Divisional Commandant Home guards, Jammu,, Commissioner Scouts & Guides, Chief Warden, Civil Defense, Dy SPs, Aux Police 2nd Bn Jammu, Dy Divisional Warden Jammu, Chairman R M College of Education, officers, wardens of this organization and management staff.
Speaking on the occasion, Manhas stressed on the need of intensifying the plantation drives to preserve the green wealth on earth besides dealing with threats like global warming.
