JKSPF advocates peace in state | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 10: Jammu Kashmir social peace forum (JKSPF) held a peaceful dharna at press club, Jammu under its chairman Davinder Singh Behal and demanded immediate curbing of human rights violation. He also condemned the killing of 50 innocent persons and the injuries suffered by about 300 person in the ongoing agitation in Kashmir. Those who participated in the dharna demanded the revocation of AFSPA and PSA and other related laws in order to bring a lasting peace in the state. Behal further demanded the release of political defences whether they are separatists or otherwise youths booked under various laws. By resorting to such measures, the peace will automatically be restored in the state. This measure will also strengthen the good relations between India and Pakistan. JKSPF also expressed their full sympathy with victims of cloud burst and flash floods in Leh and Pakistan.
