| Students pay tributes at `War Memorial’ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 13: With an aim to develop sense of patriotism among the young children, the management of Sprawling Buds School, Chinore in Bantalab took students to `War Memorial’, adjoining to University of Jammu, here today.
Since the entire nation is going to celebrate the Independence Day on August 15, the little toddlers were taken on an outing to pay homage to the Martyrs at the `War Memorial’. “During the round around the memorial, the young students were briefed about the great sacrifice of the Indian Army and other individuals for the security and integrity of the Nation,” said, Director of the School, Arti Sharma, who accompanied the students.
While paying tributes to the great soldiers of the Nation, these students also showered flowers at the monuments.
“Undoubtedly, it was a successful attempt on part of the school as for as education to the students is concerned. Such trips help build a sense of patriotism and nationalism among the young children, who are future of the Nation,” further said the Director.
