| NHPC to organize awareness campaign on energy conservation | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 13:To promote energy conservation in the country Ministry of Power has launched the National awareness campaign which would not only aware about the need of conserving energy but at the same time would educate and involve their parents as well as in the above cause.
Like the previous year, NHPC again has been allocated J&K state to organize the painting competition at school and state level. Sanjay Sarbhoy , Chief NHPC has been nominated as nodal officer J&K . for organizing painting competition at school, state level . The school level painting competition shall be conducted by the respected principal , headmaster or incharge of the school. The students obtaining Ist , 2nd and 3rd position in the state level painting competition shall appear in national level on Dec 12 . Prize money for the students standing 1st , 2nd and 3rd at state level shall be awarded with Rs 10,000 , 8000 and Rs 5000 along with 10 consolation prizes of Rs 100 each. Similarly Prizr money at national level shall be Rs 1,00,000, Rs 50,000 (nos) , 25000 ( 8 nos ) and 20 consolation prizes of Rs 10,000 each.
