8/13/2010 10:10:24 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, AUG 13: Recently appointed KP youth under special migrant drive were willing that Govt. will issue orders in favour of the selected candidates in various departments. But Govt. has switched to silence and has focused its total attention on the Valley. After two years PM’s special employment package for Kashmiri Migrants was implemented after more than two years from the date of its announcement. Selection made, notified and the final orders of appointment were to be issued in the month of beginning of the July. Due to disturbances in the Valley aspirants were made scapegoats and the orders were kept in abeyance. Now enough is enough, if the Valley does not became calm that does not mean the KP migrant appointees will not get the jobs to survive.
Pt. R. K. Bhat President YAIKS made it clear that if appointment letters are not issued by the end of Aug, Situation will take a ugly turn to which State Govt. will be responsible as they are time and again taking KPs for granted and belittling in each and every respect. No body listens to peace loving and non violent people. Violence is the order of the day and it is the Govt. which is facing us to adopt path of violence.
Pt. Bhat warned Govt. and announced in Samalan that if any further delay in issuance of formal appointment orders is made KPs shall be constraint to launch a massive agitation from the beginning of the Sept.10 and that agitation will be different from routine agitations. He assured the youth that efforts will not be allowed to go waste. He warned Govt. that in case the PM’s employment package is not implemented with in a month, agitation in a different, unique and drastic manner would be started. Bhat asked weather PM is worried about the future of KP youth or he announced package to address Kashmir issue on international arena?
Those who addressed the gathering include Vice Presidents B. K. Bhat, Ramesh Bhat, Secretaries J. L. Pandita, Manoj Handoo, Ajay Safaya, Prog. Coordinators Sunil Kaul, Sunil Dhar, Ashwani Ji. Tresurer Sanjay Shashoo, Organisers Sunil Hangloo, Sanjay Ganjoo, Ravinder, Vinay, Dr. Karuna Raina , Lovely Kumari and Neeru Zutshi.
