Rajouri scientist gets national acclaim | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT RAJOURI, Aug 13: Government of India’s Patent Office has acknowledged research work of a Rajouri scientist Pardeep Kumar Sharma by conferring patent to him for his invention “An improved motor cycle”. Pradeep Kumar was engaged in serious research and development (R&D) work on two wheelers in general and particularly on solution of tyre punctures in bikes. He started work to solve the perennial problem of tyre puncture in bikes since mid nineties, and finally he came up with a new idea to overcome the problem faced by motor cycle riders. Pradeep succeeded in finding a solution to this problem and applied for patent of his work during the year 2002 , with Patent office government of India in accordance with provisions of the patent act 1970.
