EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 13: ASCOMS Medical Teachers Association (AMTA) and All Resident Doctors Association (ARDA) have strongly condemned the anti-national act of some medical students who were involved in the recent incident of raising anti-India slogans outside the University main gate.
In a joint meeting held today in the premises of Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences and Hospital, the association members demanded immediate and stern action against all those responsible for creating such an ugly scene.
The members said that such activities will not be tolerated and incidents like this in future could lead to the worsening of the already delicate situation and adversely affect the peaceful and congenial atmosphere among the students and staff of the ASCOMS.
The members appealed for peace and harmony in the college premises and requested students to concentrate on their studies, advised them not to indulge in any anti-social activities which hampers the smooth functioning of the institution.
