| Bovine smugglers’ driving licenses cancelled | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
REASI, Aug 13: To curb bovine smuggling, Reasi police have recommended to the ARTO Udhampur to cancel 24 driving licenses of the bovine smugglers.
Giving information SSP Reasi Anand Jain said that 24 cases of those drivers involved in smuggling of cattle have been referred to ARTO Udhampur and RTO Jammu for taking strict action against them
The driving licences of these vehicles operators have been recommended for cancellation as they were found carrying bovines and have already been booked in various police stations of district Reasi. He further said that acting swiftly ARTO Udhampur has served notice to a bovine smuggler namely Javed Ahmed son of Fareed Khan resident of village Bhatryi, Jammu for cancellation of registration of his truck bearing number JK14A-6607.
