| Check malpractices and proper implementation of schemes: Ravinder | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, Aug16: Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary and MLC Ravinder Sharma has asked people to come forward to check mal-practices and improper implementation of various welfare and developmental schemes of the centre and state government.
Addressing a public meeting at a border village Bhalwal-Kangri in tehsil Sunderbani, Sharma asked the higher authorities of various departments especially Rural Development Department and CAPD for closely monitoring the implementation and delivery systems at the ground level and maintaining transparency in the system.
Responding to complaints by a large number of people and local leaders about the non-implementation of various schemes and non-inclusion of deserving families in the BPL lists, Sharma expressed concern and assured them to take up the issue with higher authorities.
On the occasion, the people constituted a 21 member Panchayat Level Committee of Congress workers to monitor various development works. MLC Sharma asked the people to come forward and help fight corruption at various levels.
A number of prominent workers of the area led by senior BJP leader Bhim Sein, Ex-Sarpanch joined Congress party and expressed their faith in the policies and programmes of the party. |
