| Chib sets up Public Relation Office | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 16:Minister for Medical and Technical Education, Youth Services and Sports, Rajinder Singh Chib today said that the Coalition Government, headed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was committed to provide all basic amenities to the people of the State.
He was addressing a large gathering after inaugurating public relation office at R S Pura set up to listen to the grievances and demands of the people of the border Tehsil .
On the occasion, the Minister also dedicated one ambulance to Suchetgarh Constituency.
Minister said that the purpose of opening of the office is to listen to the grievances and demands of the people of R S Pura and adjoining area for an early redressal as it was the long pending demand of the people of the area. He informed that the office shall remain open from 10 am to 2 pm.
He asked the people to come to the office for registering their complaints and demands regarding any issue.
Chib asked the people to remain vigilant against the elements who want to disturb the peace and harmony of the State.
Minister said that the Central government headed by Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, has provided sufficient funding to the state for the early completion of various development projects being executed in the State. He said that main focus of the State Coalition Government was on development of tourist attraction spots on modern lines by providing all infrastructural facilities to visitors. |
