| GPW launches plantation drive | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 16: As a part of its innovative activities under technical and support services, the CDTP wing of Government Polytechnic for Women today launched "Tree Plantation Drive" at the main centre GWP Jammu.
Internal Coordinator of the CDTP scheme, Er Naresh Gupta, highlighted the activities of the CDTP wing.
Principal of the institute, Er Gurbachan Singh, appreciated the move of the wing and hoped that the deliberations will help the cause. All the faculty and 150 students participated in the tree plantation where 200 saplings of ever green trees were planted along the boundary of new play field. It was resolved by the students that they will work hard to save the environment from menace of global warming. |
