Addressing a joint press conference, PRM President Rajinder Singh Jamwal said, "Autonomy for J&K is unacceptable by the people of Jammu, Ladakh and nationalist's people of Kashmir".
'The indecisive attitude and policy of appeasement towards Kashmir are the root cause because of which the situation has further worsened and took ugly turn', he added, mentioning that anti-India, Pro-Azadi sloganeering outside Jammu University etc speaks of the volumes of the fast deteriorating situation in this part of the state which is required to be dealt with iron hand and strong political will.
He said that anti-nationals deserves no sympathy or reprieve and must be tried with stringent laws including sedition, unlawful activities and be booked under PSA.

'The Govt cannot escape from its responsibility as it continued its experiments, allowed situation to go from bad to worse and he warned that its no policy with casual and day to day approach would prove suicidal and nation as a whole will have to pay the price'.
He maintained that Jammu was the worst sufferer in all eventualities and conditions as it has suffered discrimination, apathy and hostility during normalcy while paying price for its nationalism and patriotism during turmoil, only because of Government showing disregard and disrespect to the sentiments of brave people of Jammu.
He said, "Separate Statehood for Jammu province is only the solution to end aged long discrimination".
The leaders appealed Jammuities cutting across party or religious lines to come up, work unitedly and with strength for regaining lost glory, respect dignity and honour after foiling the nefarious designs of touts and stooges of Kashmiri and New Delhi.
They also opposed holding of All Party Meet or secret dialogue with separatists, move to repeal AFSPA or grant of Autonomy in J&K would be suicidal with disastrous outcome and strongly demand re-organization of J&K with Jammu State ranging between Ravi to Peerpanjal.
