| Adbi Kunj organized literary meet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 17: Adbi Kunj organized a special literally meet "Jashan-e-Aazadi" on the occasion of 64th Independence Day.
New Shastri Memorial Higher Secondary School Talab Tillo, Jammu. A large numbers of literary figures participated in this meet from the different parts of the city along with many others lovers from the different walks of the life.
The meet was presided over by an old freedom fighter, writer and poet, comrade Muni Lal Puri, while another an old writer and Journalist Dr Bharat Bhushan Gupta, was the special Guest of the meet.
Ved Upal Ved, a well known singer and poet, conducted the proceedings of the meet with professional alumina. In the opening Sham Talib president of the organization congratulated the festival of freedom to all the countrymen as well as his colleagues of the organization, on the occasion, he threw detailed light on the various aspects of the Freedom moment and paid tributes to martyrs on the occasion other speakers also paid their tributes, and express their views on the different shades of the freedom moment. In the meet, Ved Upal Ved presents three patriotism songs in his melodious voice. In the literary session, the writers present their various write ups on the different colours of freedom. |
