'Weak leadership responsible for present turmoil in Kashmir' | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Aug 17:Vision Kashmir has held responsible the weak leadership, corrupt politicians and the poor administration of the state for the present turmoil and said that the prevailing situation in the Valley reminds the year when the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandit community took place. In a meeting of the Vision Kashmir held under the chairmanship of its Convenor Sunil Fotedar , the members deliberated upon the geopolitical realities of the state and its impact on the uprooted community. Sunil Fotedar said that wide spread anti-India sentiments and pro-Azadi sloganeering have put the question mark on Government of India policy viz-aviz (quite diplomacy) to resolve the Kashmir crisis. The sum total of the Geo political facts of the state as on today is that "Islamisation" of the valley has swept to the entire valley, in spite of the efforts by the state and the Govt of India to turn the tide and change the course of history, where the valley is finally overrun by separatists and religious forces. Sunil said that the Govt of India and the ruling combine of the state have shown hardly and hesitation in displaying its pro-Kashmir bars which have dismayed the populace and the political leaders of the other regions of the state. He further said that communal ideology of the present ruling combine and the successive governments of the state have least bothered to think about the seven lakh Hindus of Kashmir have already paid the heavy price on the pretext of Azadi. |
