| Transfers & postings in administration | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Aug 17: State Cabinet which met here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, approved following transfers and postings in the civil administration with immediate effect. Tashi Dorjee, Secretary in the Home Department has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Administrative Reforms, Inspections, Trainings and Grievances department against an available vacancy. Abdul Majid Wani, Project Director, Integrated Rural Energy Programme (IREP) has been transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner, Kashmir against an available vacancy. The charge of the post of Project Director, IREP shall be held by the Chief Executive Officer, Jammu and Kashmir Energy Development Agency in addition to his own duties.
Government has also ordered transfers and postings of following officers, Sajad Ahmad Khan, Joint Director, SKIMS and ex-officio Special Secretary have been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department.
Rita Parimoo, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department has been posted as Secretary, State Commission for Backward Classes relieving.
Rafiq Ahmad Hakim, Joint Registrar, Cooperatives (Special), Srinagar have been transferred and posted as Joint Director, SKIMS and ex-officio Additional Secretary to Government.
Reva Kumari, Additional Secretary Technical Education Department has been transferred and posted as Joint Director, Handicrafts, Jammu against an available vacancy.
