Jammu Aug 18: A condolence meet was organized at Sher-i-Kashmir Bhawan, to pay tribute to the National Conference leader KC Sharma who died today in the morning at his residence due to prolonged illness.
As per reports, Late Sharma served the state in various capacities, he had worked as Engineer and than as a member of Legislative Council. Members of the party present on the condolence meet praised his virtues and prayed for eternal peace of his departed soul.
Prominent members present in the meet were, Luxmi Dutta, Sheikh Bashir Ahmad, Provincial secretary, Ch. Haroon , Bimla Luthra, MLA, Sat Pal Lakhotra, Ex-MLA, Kashmir Singh, Ex- MLC, Brij Mohan Sharma, Ex-MLC, Rajesh Bakshi, Shyam Mehra, SS Bunty, SS Jamwal, Satya Jamwal, Nar Singh, Rampal, Ex-MLC, Bhushan Lal Bhat, Ex-MLC, Mohd. Aslam Khan, Ex-MLA, and others were also present on the spot.
Large number of NC activists also attended the funeral procession of the deceased at Jogi Gate.
