Seminar on Role of Chartered Accountants in Banking Sector held | | | Early Times Report Jammu , Aug 18: The J&K Branch of Northern Indian Regional Council of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India jointly with Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (HDFC Ltd) today Organised a seminar on Role of Chartered Accountants in Banking Sector and Growth of Housing Sector in J&K. Ravi Sarangal, Commissioner of Income Tax, J&K , chief guest on the occasion highlighted the role of Chartered Accountants in Society at large. Managing Director, J&K Housing Board, Guest of Honour, Daleep Thusu, highlighted the growth of Housing Sector in the J&K State. CA. Neeraj Goel, Guest Speaker, made a detailed presentation highlighting the role of CAs in Banking Sector. Speaking on the occasion Madhumita Ganguli, Sr. General Manager HDFC Limited, said that Chartered Accountants have a very important role in advising, guiding as well as educating clients on their financial requirements such as deposits and housing loans. Others who presented on the occasion included Sanjay Mishra, Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeal), J&K T.P. Singh, Addl. Commissioner of Income Tax, J&K, Satish Kumar Sharma and Rakesh Kumar, Dy. Commissioner of Income Tax, J&K.
