| Machail Yatra of Goddess Chandi commences | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
BHADERWAH, Aug 18: The religious Machail Padder yatra today commenced from its base camp temple, Chinote Bhaderwah and will culminate on August 27. Over 5000 pilgrims are participating in the yatra.
The yatra, commenced from Chandi Mata Mandir in Chinote Bhaderwah for Machail Padder in Kishtwar district amidst chanting of Bhajans and religious sermons in a cavalcade of buses, matadors and cars.
Local administration headed by Sub Divisional Magistrate, Bhaderwah, Yasha Mudgal, ASP, T. R. Katoch, Tehsildar, SDPO and others accorded a warm send off to the pilgrims.
District administration Doda and Kishtwar have made all arrangements of security, health care, transportation and civic amenities for smooth and peaceful conduct of the yatra.
